We request information from the customer on our order form. Here, a customer must provide contact information (like name, shipping address and e-mail address). This information is used to contact the consumer about the services on our site for which they have expressed interest, for billing purposes and to fill customer's orders. If we have trouble processing an order, this contact information is used to get in touch with the customer. On our order form we don't need information about the way you are paying or credit card numbers.
Cookies.
A cookie is a piece of data stored on a users hard drive containing information about the user. Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information while on our site. When our order form asks users to enter information, that information is encrypted and is protected by the "Multipay Payment Server" or a "ShopFactory Order Server". Any payment information, like credit card numbers, is also encrypted and is protected by them. Amongst others they use SSL (Secure Sockets Layer), one of the best encryption software in the industry.
When we submit an e-mail we use a certificate (digital ID). The recipient of the message can verify that is was sent by us, that is wasn't modified in transmit, that is was prevent for others from reading the massage and to secure the identity of the sender. The recipient can use it to encrypt all messages sent to us.
We also do everything in our power to protect user-information off-line. All of our users information in restricted in our offices. Only those who need the information to perform a specific job, like services on our site for which our users have expressed interest, for billing purposes and to fill customer's orders are granted access to personally identifiable information. The computers that we store personally identifiable information are protected by double Passwords, Anti-virus software and a Firewall. Financial information, like credit card numbers, are not stored on our computers.
